Get ready for one of Buda’s most cherished and whimsical events—the 28th Annual Buda Lions Club Wiener Dog Races, happening April 26–27, 2025, at Buda City Park! This family-friendly festival is a highlight of the spring season, drawing visitors from all over to celebrate the spirited dachshund.

The festivities kick off with a delightful pet parade, showcasing our furry friends in their finest attire. The main event features the famous wiener dog races, where dachshunds dash to the finish line in a display of speed and determination. But the fun doesn't stop there—enjoy a variety of activities including:
