We had such a fun and heartwarming visit to CityVet – South Austin this week! From the moment we walked through the doors of their bright, modern clinic, we could tell this was a space designed with both pets and their people in mind.

Dr. VanDyke was kind enough to give us a behind-the-scenes tour of the clinic, and it’s easy to see why so many pet parents are singing their praises. The facility is immaculately clean, incredibly welcoming, and thoughtfully designed to make every visit a positive experience—for humans and animals alike. They even have a cat only exam room- they really have thought of everything.

They are accepting new pets and they have an on-site groomer as well.

One of the highlights of our visit was meeting the adorable Bumby, a sweet English Bulldog who is currently looking for her forever family through Austin Bulldog Rescue. • Protect your pup’s paws—if you can’t hold the back of your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds, it’s too hot for their feet
   
• Stay hydrated and avoid peak heat hours during walks
